Time seeps away from my cupped hands…
Without wait, a backward glance,
Stealing away the whiles, these touches.
The dearest spent with you…
Scything away all the plants, from
Seeds we sowed with such care…

Looking back at those barren deserts;
Once the forests, we lost ourselves in,
Seems lost, out of reach,
With freedom and joy, roamed
The extents of the paradise…
The doors seem closed forever.

The fears were fading,
In your arms I felt, was back
In the womb of my mother’s,
Now, bereft or your stands,
In these paths my legs falter…
The fears return with vengeance.

I must move on I know,
Know I must find courage,
But I search for hope, for reason.
The source yet eluding… walk a refugee.
Is this it, I wondered? The reaping I bear…
Were your vows, your wishes so vacant?
